Office Support to Sales Team-$23.00 – $25.00 hourly P/T to Start Santa Clarita, CA

Part-time to start! Full-time hours in October.

Work 4 hours per day, 3 days per week to begin this long-term assignment. After a few weeks, you will be asked to work 5 days per week in 4 hour shifts. Hours available are: 9a-1p or 10a-2p.

Hours move into a 40 hour work week in October to cover another staff member for a few months.

Maintain and update price lists in Excel on a daily basis for continuity and accuracy. Excel skills are intermediate level and you will need to have experience with sorting and filtering data, cut/paste, using sum and find commands along with inputting, adding rows/columns, sizing adjustments, etc. Manage electronic pricing records and spreadsheets. Assist with preparation of quotes and pricing for both customers and sales team members.

Assist sales team in all US time zones, manufacturers, and customers. Handle phone calls and respond to emails, update customers and vendors on order status, resolve any discrepancies. Accurate recordkeeping of customer interactions and order activity.

Ability to digitally file and organize documents/records.

Quick data entry and strong typing with accuracy is necessary.

MS Word and Outlook competency and Intermediate experience/ability with Excel.

2 years experience in a clerical support, sales support, or similar position
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
