Small CPA office is looking to add a tax preparer and client-facing tax office assistant. Work alongside CPA’s to learn procedures for tax forms and preparation. Set up client appointments, prepare paperwork, maintain files, etc. This person will train the rest of this year and work actively on existing clients with the expectation to be ready to do tax preparer duties independently in 2027. The firm primarily does individual taxes with a few business accounts.

Proficient in MS Office Suite. Able to learn quickly and retain information. Mathematically inclined, detail-oriented, and self-starter.

Prior experience working in a tax office for at least1 year throughout the busy tax season, and desire to learn tax preparation. Available to work Saturdays, especially near major tax deadlines.

Stable work history is needed. $28/hr, 9am-5:30pm, M-F.
