Seeking an Intake Trainee to provide support to busy West Hills center. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to get started in their Social Services career.

We are seeking bi-lingual candidates as follows:

~English/Spanish

~English/Vietnamese

Position includes responding to clients via telephone, basic triage to determine needs of caller, create and update client files, verify eligibility of services, assist with coordination of services, etc.

The clients are seeking support services related to concerns such as abuse, addiction, PTSD, etc. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology or Social Work to qualify for our opening. We will also accept a degree in Criminal Justice.
Prefer candidates with some experience working with clients via telephone. Internship experience is acceptable for this Trainee opening.

Requires basic computer and typing skills.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm

There is potential for this to be a hybrid role, where you work from home at times during the week.
